What to expect during your session with Mystic Courtney & how to come ready for your Channeled Tarot Reading.

When coming for a Channeled Tarot Reading with Mystic Courtney you’ll receive a combination of classic tarot and the application of her intuitive/psychic gifts! Including a focused attention on making sure your Helpers are present and providing insights, messages and information.

What to expect:

Mystic Courtney asks you to share your entire name and she will offer hers as well. I believe that our Helpers start to connect with our names being revealed. Channeling is forging a connection to Spirit, Guides, Helping Beings, Ancestors and more. Through that connection the messages of your Helpers can more readily be received and conveyed to you via the channel. Tarot cards really support the channeling when you are receiving a session with me. When I am intuiting on your behalf messages can arrive for me as visions, thoughts, voices – including different languages, feelings and comprehensions or knowings.

Depending on the length of your reading there will be at least one oracle deck alongside the tarot deck. I will provide you with a few tarot decks to choose one from based on your name and my intuitive sense of which tarot decks available are a good option for you. I typically chooses the oracle decks on your behalf. Once the decks are chosen, we will take a tech moment for me to set a timer.

The session will start with a meditation to help ground in the space, become fully present and invite your Helpers to be present for you. I’ll guide you through this meditation while shuffling the decks in your name.

I will then open the reading by sharing any intuitive messages or insights I received during the guided meditation. The cards will be laid out, and the reading will move forward. The initial phase of the reading most often comprises of any intuitive messages being shared with you that flows out with the cards. Then you may be asked if you have any questions about the topic. The session will move forward to a place where you can ask questions about other topics that the initial rolling of the cards did not reveal.

Once the timer goes off it will be time to close. There will be a brief closing meditation that I will walk you through. Then the session is complete.

Important for you to know!

No matter what the outcome of the questions or the session in general you have free will. Human beings are very powerful and a path can shift when a new choice is made – which is both humbling and exciting. Knowledge is power!

How to come ready for your session:

While preparing for a reading ask yourself what has been on my mind lately? What’s been bothering me? What’s been exciting me? What am I considering changing in my life? If I did change something – what would I consider changing to or what direction would I like to go instead? From these source contemplations you’ll be able to determine some of the topics you are most curious about, and the potential questions associated with those topics.

What do people ask about?

Topics most often include romantic and family relationships; business and career decisions – including education and location questions; questions about directions in life; and decisions to be made around finances, wellbeing, longevity and happiness. The longer the session the more topics we are able to cover.

Occasionally clients make lists based on what they’re most curious about and have questions prepared in order of their priorities in getting insight and information about.

Your questions don’t need to be entirely mapped out, follow-up questions do come naturally. Sometimes having a list that can help keep some structure to a reading can help. When I am in the channeling, super in-tune, intuitive state I am not very conscious of time, I rely on the timer to tell me when we are ready to close rather than having an inner sense of time working on our behalf.

Your questions and how to deliver them:

Outcome based questions are recommended. For instance: “I’d like to know about my Brother’s recent move for his career?”

Yes and no questions function better with me when they are set up as a juxtaposition. For example – “what’s the outcome of me continuing to date this person” and “what’s the outcome of me not continuing to date this person”? Then you and I will be able to look at the two (or more) different outcomes and receive insights that way. Sometimes one outcome is more obviously negative or more obviously positive. Very often there are variables and the cards can illustrate easier or harder paths.

Can you record your session?

Yes, you can! There is a pause between choosing the cards for your reading and starting the meditation. This is the time when turning on your recording device is welcome and invited. I will be setting a timer to begin the session and you should start your recorder at the same time. Voice recordings only please!
